IMPACT OF AIUCC TO THE SOCIETY
- This organization shall engage in bringing people together culturally, organize cultural activities such as festivals, fairs, create social solidarity and cohesion, fostering social inclusion, community empowerment, capacity-building, enhancing confidence, civic pride, and tolerance.
- This organization shall help spur innovation in other sectors in the form of productivity advancements, regional development, community branding and increased local tourism through promoting Ijaw cultural heritage.
- The organization will make a significant contribution to the tourism industry, by bringing different people from different location to promote the cultural heritage of a people (Ijaw).
- The organization will engage in building self-esteem, and improve resilience people, all of which enhance educational outcomes.
- The organization shall broaden opportunities for education and lifelong learning, including a better understanding of history.
- The organization shall focus on promoting the cultural heritage of Ijaw people within Bayelsa state, Delta State, Ondo State, Edo State, Akwa-Ibom state, Cross Rivers State and Rivers State to the world, within the Niger Delta and others as the need may arise.
- This organization shall sustain and promote the Ijaw Cultural traditions which were made by our experienced ancestors who wanted to pass on their valued knowledge about life to every generation of mankind henceforth, to make their survival easier.
Culture is a very important factor in our current day and happenings, because it defines us. Our culture measures our quality of life, our vitality and the health of our society. Through this organization, culture will be used to develop a sense of belonging, personal and cognitive growth and the ability to empathize and relate to each other.
- This organization shall use different cultural activities and engagement to lift at least fifty people out of the street, (low life and needy to be self-reliant, and also improve their living condition) within Ijaw, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
